Stop server service from running

Hey All
 
Is there any way to stop the EVGA Precision X server files from running.
I don't use OSD, but simply disable the option in precision x, doesn't stop the services from running in the background.
 
Only way i could find searching the topic is to delete the 
PrecisionXServer_x64.exe
PrecisionXServer.exe
files
 
Will this have a negative impact ? other than stopping the server from running osd.

    What OS are you using?
     
    What are you using PrecisionX for?
     
    PC - specifications?
     
    Have you tried a "clean boot" ?

    Are you trying to stop the server files from running in order to stop the OSD feature?

    Running Windows 10 Pro
     
    Only using Precision X for temperature monitoring, it's watercooled so no fans, and haven't overclocked it
    (on a side-note i found out RealTemp can also monitor GPU temperature, so problem might be obsolete, as i might as well only use Realtemp for the purpose)
     
    But to stay on topic, Yes was trying to stop the server files, not because of OSD in general, but because i wasn't using them at all, and don't like unnecessary processes running.
    Besides read they can sometimes cause conflicts with certain games.
     
    And i as some people has experienced with the new version, Precision X is causing system lag at boot-up. (but there is a separate forum topic on this subject)
    this error has also dissipated after i disabled Precision, and not launching it.
