Putting a system together for my 10 year old nephew.  Using computers left from closing my office.  It's a Z87 FTW with 4770K and 16 GB Corsair RAM.  Reloaded Windows 7 on a new WD Red 3 TB hard drive.  I have it hardwired to my router but get the message that Windows does not detect any network hardware.  Can't proceed without an internet connection.  The cable is good as I tried it on my computer.  Computer was cabled in my office and Wifi'd as backup.  Both options worked at the time I closed the office in August.  Anybody with ideas?

Right-click on your Network icon is the system tray in the lower right hand side of the screen. Select 'Connect to a Network' or try the Troubleshooting option. You may have to reinstall your network drivers.

Tried to "Connect to a Network" and troubling and the same response...No network hardware detected.  Installed directly from Windows OS installation disk.  I have to assume LAN drivers did not load properly.  Got Wifi working by downloading drivers on my computer and transferring them to the new one.  At the moment doing Windows Updates.  Will look later and see if I can download LAN drivers from Microsoft if the updates don't take care of it.
Thanks guys.

Download the LAN drivers from whoever made your device. Mine is Qualcomm Killer on this motherboard and Realtek on my other. Open the Start Menu but pressing the Windows key and typing msinfo32 and it should give you the specs of all of your components.

I am guessing you are referring to your Intel chipset drivers. IME or Intel Management Engine is another driver that is often overlooked by many. If you want to see if you are missing any other drivers open your Device Manager and look for the yellow triangles.
