I am just curious about the timing on this one.
It is nice to see it is single slot, so that will be useful to the user's that are on integrated graphics right now.

I've just registered my month-old gt 710 2GB single slot low profile (with 1/2 h cudahc load it heats up to 45C° +20 deltaT above room one) does any one know a linux tool for tweak rom, which I've already backup :)

45C is very low, especially for 100% load. The max temperature for that card is 95C. Why are you trying to tweak the BIOS?

To get as much as I can out of this gt710 even it is just +10/15 % performance, till the limit before migrating to new GTX 1080/90. And I need it that could be possible natively on Linux. THX 4 replies. @EVGATech_BrandonS Hey Brandon which TIM was under my GT710, because changing with mx2 temp drops to 36 C° @EVGATech_BrandonS Why does my EVGA GT710 lp sl 2GB does not qualifies for the STEP UP program? And someone can step up to the cheaper gpu than mine (know that seems impossible but that's it)? Why does not advertise the step up program (it is just 1st time you organised that a wonderful idea?)? Thx

Yes finally a usable PCIe x8 GPU for servers.
EVGA also makes a 730, with the same GK208-301-A1 chip, but with better clock speeds, giving you 693 GFLOPS vs the 366 GFLOPS of the 710. I've bought two of them now, for ~US$65. They work beautifully on my Supermicro H8DM8-2. I'm beginning to feel like a salesman for EVGA - two posts, and two recommendations for the 730. When do I get a commission?

I presume that you have nvidia-settings installed? /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-xorg.conf should have the following lines to maintain the clock speeds at max. Section "Device" Identifier "My GPU" Driver "nvidia" Option "RegistryDwords" "PowerMizerEnable=0x1; PerfLevelSrc=0x2222; PowerMizerDefaultAC=0x1" Option "Coolbits" "12" EndSection Opening nvidia-settings, go to the PowerMizer tab, and you will find that level 0 performance levels are grayed out, and level 1 performance puts both GPU and memory clocks at max. Attempting to change "preferred mode" has no effect. For info, my GT730 runs at 66 Celsius, while crunching numbers for folding at home. And, finally, that GT730 offers almost double the GFLOPS that the GT710 does, for about US$65 bucks. EVGA part number 02G-P3-1733-KR - the other two versions of the GT730 WILL NOT work on my Supermicro H8DM8-2 I hope some of that helps. ;^)

I was looking to push the GT 710 beyond the defult limit, was talking OC that EVGA provides a PrecisionX for Windows Platform . Even Rom Tweaking in linux. Runaway1956

That's funny! Looks like they expected me to buy this card. Just 2 days ago they released new version of driver for Win 10 and it installed without complains. Not sure about performance (which I do not really care about) but it supports both monitors with right resolution. Thanks to everyone!

What resolutions does this card *actually* support? (I've got part 01G-P3-2716-KR)
It claims "two dual-link DVI" connectors but it doesn't seem able to supply a dual-link resolution to both of them together.
My two monitors are 2560x1440, they both worked at that resolution with an old GT620.
The GT710 doesn't work, the one on the DVI-D port is always limited to 1920 resolution.

I'm having the same problem. I get 1920x1080 on one and 1024x768 on the other. No option higher than 1024x768 in the control panel on the second monitor. Need them both at 1920x1080. Had no problems with the old card.

Just bought my third EVGA GT 700 Series card - 1 x GT710, 2 x GT730. I love these things. Had a heck of a time finding my latest card, EVGA GeForce GT 730 2G-P3-3733-KR (2048 MB GDDR5). After searching the web for two days, this is the only site where I could find them in stock. Thanks, for that! Keep 'em coming...

Thanks! I've always wondered what the max temp is, on the EVGA GT 710. I'm running a fan-less version in this machine. I watch it like a hawk - never seen it go over 70°C. I'm running Peppermint Linux OS, with three Dell displays - 1 x 29", 2 x 24". Uptime is 3d 7h. I've got 2 Chromium browser windows open playing music videos, and 2 Opera browser windows surfing the web. The second display is monitoring my emails, and the third display is playing podcasts. ╭─vindsl@Boogaloo-6 ~

BTW, here's a little 'trick' I use to (effectively) run 4 monitors on these GT 710/730 cards... I start with a 3 monitor tree, and put an Ultra-Wide display (16:10 aspect ratio) on top. When you mirror 2 equally sized browser windows on this top display, you end up with the equivalent of 2 x (1280x1024) 19" monitors. Using the machine I'm on, as an example, 2 x 19" displays on top, and 2 x 24" displays on the bottom. Makes sense? GREAT cards! And, with that, I'll stop...
