I'm currently in the market to find a case, preferably not the Corsair 750D 760T line, but something more in the line of say the NZXT H440 that will fit the Classified. Here's my potential new build.  My current case is the Fractal Design Define R4 Blackout.  Something this height or just slightly taller is what I'm looking for due to the placement/clearance of my desktop and the top of the case. I currently have about 4-5 inches of clearance between my desktop and the Define R4 case (note it is not on the floor, it sits about 6 inches off of the floor)

Upcoming build:

Intel i7 5820k
EVGA X99 Classified
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4) Red Ed.
EVGA SuperNova 850 P2
EVGA Red Individually Sleeved Cables
EVGA 980ti Hybrid
Hitachi (HGST) 4TB 7200RPM NAS for storage
Kingston Hyper X 960GB SSD
Dual 120/140mm(240/280mm) Closed Loop Cooler - not decided on this yet

Ideally I'd like to keep the case under the $200 mark if possible and like fairly simple case design.  I'm not a fan of the NZXT Phantom or CM HAF style cases. I appreciate any assistance you may offer.

Best,

Chris W.

Just in case you ever go custom water cooling down the line, always pick a case that can house radiators nicely and be able to store the reservoirs and pumps just in case.   On that note, I do like the Corsair Cases primarily because of their versatility.

    I'm looking @ these two.

    Phanteks EVOLV ATX
    or

    Phanteks Pro M
Those show w/ EATX support w/ an * (up to 264mm wide) the Classified is 263.5mm. Although I'm not beyond the Pro or the Luxe, but the cutout they have for their windows, instead of it being a single cutout, is an odd design choice.  I know I know, I'm picky.

I've just measured the HxW of the space i have to put the system.  It's 24in. or 609mm by 11.5in or 292mm.  The Luxe and the 750D are the same height of 560mm.

(This is just a joke ahead of time, but....)

I suggest the Caselabs Tx10D. It has plenty of room but is a little bit pricey.

LOL No lie, i looked at CaseLabs and then I saw how much they wanted for just a DOOR for their cases.  They're nice, but pricey, still not as bad as InWin though.

Old tried but true is a Cooler Master HAF-X. Heavy as a dead body, but can do up to E-ATX just fine.

    Obviously Scarlet you're half a sleep. :D Suggesting TX-10 with 200$ limit. Cheeky. ;)

You may consider ThermalFake X-5 or 9. Really cheap (steel) copy of CL and can hold bags of radiators (even thick 60mm and 80mm monsters) with very easy access (something that can't be said about most towers) and HDD mounts are actually more convenient than CL cage system (as a storage hoarded I can testify to that that cage system is actually pain the the back side if you need to move things quite often).

I was thinking about TX-10 myself but it would bankrupt me totally with shipping that monster across the world, so I settled for custom painted TH-10A. Still it was ~1500$ in total with customs and options. :I want to cry: But at least exchange rate held at that time. Now I would pay 25% more just on currency exchange alone even including ~90 USD cheaper S&H via UPS now than Fedex then offered by CaseLabs. Economy is mental, no other word for it, just mental.

Phanteks Evolv ATX would do it, quick snap of mine attached, with X99 Micro and custom water loop.
If you are looking at AIO cooler then you could fit a 360 EK predator with push-pull fans, top or front mounted. Plenty of options for storage too.
Case has no 5.25 bays, which is an issue if you like a fan controller.
Drives are no problem (there are 4 SSD and 1 HDD hidden away in mine).

Nice setup but a heads up that there is a worldwide recall on all the EK AIO Predators.  Should look up into that for the sake of your components.

Didn't realise that. I'm not using, it's a custom loop. Reference EK unit as OP was talking about AIO cooling.

I used a Thermaltake Core X9 for my latest build. It's quite a bit cheaper than a CaseLabs case, and has most of the same features. It was really easy to build in, and a Z170 Classified fit no problem.

The Phanteks Pro M looks to be what I'll be going with.  It's "supposed" to fit the board and has the same measurements, board wise, as the EVOLV ATX.  Here's what the build, so far, looks like.

On the cooler, the jury is still out on that but for the meantime I have the NZXT X61 as a placeholder. Let me know your thoughts.

Ok, so looking at the 750D. The Luxe I like except the side panel, the Pro M is ok but it would be very limiting build wise.  The 750D offers a lot of possibilities for expansion and will fit just fine in my current tower's location.  I do plan to go w/ a custom loop around October or so.  At any rate. Here's what I'm looking at with the 750D now.  Mechanical drive wise i would only have 1 in the system so I really wouldn't need the cages if I can mount it elsewhere(preferably on the very bottom of the case). Is this possible to do w/ pre-drilled holes or would I need to either look some where else to mount the drive or drill the holes myself.  So far everything I'm finding info wise is covering the older 750D that had the USB 3.0 as a pass through, I use to have that case w/ my 2600K build.  I keep coming back to Corsair on the case.  Like many of you have said, it just offers much more expansion wise, that the other cases at its price point.

From what I understand the X99 Classified is not truly an E-ATX, it's just a non-standard full ATX with about an inch more depth.

I put mine in a Thermaltake Core P5 case. Fits like a glove. Yes the Classified is an extended ATX board and case says it only fits ATX boards, but I had no issue with it fitting. Email me and I can send you a high resolution picture.

Thermaltake is good, but because dust I think Lian-Li PC-O7S is better.
Obsidian 750D is good is case with very good options for hardware and watercooling.
You can check and 760T and 600C on CORSAIR site.
Or if you want I class case than Lian-Li PC-X510, but that's expensive, much higher class than most, 100% aluminium, very nice finish, perfect details, no traces of production, etc...

I use a corsair 900d this case will take anything there's tons of space, its a very large case well built, loads of cooling options, downside is its expensive £300 in uk but I have had loads of cases in past and this is the best I've owned I love it
