I'm only getting action from lights and fans with 4 x 8 GB slotted.
i7-5820k
EVGA X99 Micro 2
4 x 8 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz 1.35v
EVGA GTX GeForce 980TI Classified
2 x Samsung Evo 250
EVGA SuperNOVA 750w
I started with 2 x 8 GB and 2 x more just arrived today. The new sticks are currently in positions 0 & 1 working fine. If I have any stick in position 2 or 3 my computer will not boot to BIOS.
I've set my memory power to manual, 3200Mhz and 1.35v for the lanes. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get all 32GB up and running, thanks!

Is your BIOS up to date? Have you tried switching the new & old RAM from slot 0 & 1 to test just the new RAM? Are you OC the CPU ?

Hi Cool GTX, Thank you for your time and attention. BIOS Date: 06/15/15 09:27:31 Ver: 05.06.05 EDIT: Above was from the system information file for FFXIV. Win7 System Information says: BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends Inc. 1.0, 6/15/2015 The new RAM are the only sticks currently in my board, working fine. Stock clock.

I updated to 1.02 and am still having the same boot issue with the additional RAM.

Now I feel stupid but at least this is resolved... My RAM, cmk16gx4m2b3000c15, is not on the supported list for the Micro 2. Part of my learning journey then!

Check with Corsair, if they list it as compatible then it should still work

Corsair does not with their memory finder tool. This was the correct model for me to get: CMK32GX4M4A2666C16 PCpartpicker listed them as compatible, bummer. EDIT: The Corsair memory finder tool only had an option for the Micro, not the Micro 2.

I had some trouble with the Corsair ram I had also. It was however, listed as compatible by EVGA. Had to do some tweaking in bios to get it to boot reliably. I later decided I wanted 32 gb instead of 16gb so I bought some G.skill ram. All I had to do was enable xmp profile 1 and all worked without any tweaking or manual settings. I would recommend G.skill over Corsair for the micro2 from my experience. Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.
