Thank you for that great explanation! The thing I worry about is my memory has to vdroop no less than 1.66 or 1.65v to operate properly, afaik. It's a very old MGH-IC Elpida Hyper kit that is still in operation (2000MHz cl8.8.8.21 tRFC 60 2T @ 1.65v). So in order to maintain that minimum vdroop I have to set it fairly high, like 1.7v and that's beyond Intel safe spec. I understand keeping the VTT & vDIMM within a .50 delta but I'm just not sure if any issues will arise with that high of voltage.
