What did you do with your sundown's and CT sounds amp?

Hah, well that's a long story, you see I blew out the sundown subs and sold them cheap, then proceeded to sell the CT Sounds amp. Then I transitioned to SoundQubed (before I bought this car) and now I'm stuck with two HDS312 subs along with a Q1-2200.2 amp. They're just sitting pretty right now and I'm trying to sell them. Also trying to sell the clunker van I had them in to make my first car payment next month easier Rest assured though, once I comfortably make my car payments I'm definitely putting a system in my Subie. Most likely gonna stick with a single sub (12" or 15") and a good bit of power like 2500-3500W. Also plan on upgrading the speakers and putting in super tweeters and mids with a dedicated mids and highs amp as well.

All that will come slowly though.

Ah, that van. You taking out that mechman alt and selling it as well? Also, was something wrong with that CT sounds amp?

A co-worker of mine just bought a HDC415 and a pair of Q1-2200.2's... pretty crazy set-up, even with 4600w the thing barely moves...

I took the alt out as well, it's sitting in its original box. Don't know how I'm gonna sell it... unless somebody with the same van plans to upgrade the crap outta their alt for a sound system lol.

I plan to get an HDC4, most likely the 15, down the road when I put in a system

The CT amp was tuned properly with my DD-1 but at moderately high volumes it'll clip prematurely, which is why I think it fried my SA-12s. Probably a defective unit.

I'd put it up on eBay... someone will probably be interested. That's how my co-worker got his h/o alt for his dodge stratus.

Yeah, I was considering a CT amp recently because they have a 2200.1 on sale for $300 at the moment. But after reading around, it seems CT amps have quite a few issues and I guess the owner screwed up with his build house by not paying them for a giant order.

I'm looking into a Fi Q at the moment. I'm thinking a 10" or might go all out and get a 15". I'll be throwing about 2K at whatever I get though, just got a twisted sounds 1.8k that gets around 2.1k dynamic RMS @ 14.4v for $330.

I'm thinking about doing an all around SoundQubed build down the road for my Subie. SoundQubed has earned my business, I've seen what they can do (went to the last Texas Heatwave). Still debating between the Q1-4500 and the 2200. I could just keep my current 2200 and use it later. As much of a basshead I am, I feel that the 4500 would completely wreck my poor Subie though...
