Hey guys,
I built my rig about a month ago (based around the EVGA Micro 2 X99 mobo), pretty damn pleased overall and getting a decent OC to boot (4.3 ghz, 3200 mhz ram), but there has been one lingering issue that's a bit of an annoyance:
When I shut off my PC, power is still delivered to the USB ports - namely my external hard drive which has a flashing light on the back. My PC is in my bedroom so I end up unplugging it before going to bed so it doesn't bother me throughout the night.
So my question is is there a way to prevent that from happening? I've looked online and couldn't find a clear cut answer and I'm fairly sure it's a mobo issue, hence why I'm asking here. Thanks!!
