It does not surprise me, as my predictions I made earlier where I posted on another thread are showing true accuracy... Many will go back to Windows 7/8, and won't use windows 10. Watch, it will happen.
If it's beyond the 30 day install window their previous install key for Windows 7/8/8.1 have been disabled in favor of the association for Windows 10. They'd have to call Microsoft to have that reverted, if possible.
I should probably clarify my statement a little more clearer. a couple weeks before the release of Windows 10, I made a determination that windows 10 was not going to be all cracked up as they thought it would be. My basing was off of the previous OS Successors and failures that Microsoft has released in the past, and based off the "patterns" thus far, windows 10 was supposedly going to be the next one to thrown in the air for target practice. I don't know...
Scarlet, the article which James-L attached at the beginning said that windows 10 removed Cataylst software which runs Radeon graphics cards (we all know that). But it was not clear if it removed it for everybody. Perhaps the Cataylst software they had was corrupt or invalid, so it removed it. That part is unclear.
According to the page (not the article), there were also a couple users who commented and complained that Windows 10 has made their display drivers stop working and not respond for a brief second. I can vouch the same thing, when I am in windows surfing web (youtube/facebook..blah) the drivers will stop, but it doesn't do this in any game/program. It's kind of sporadic, but doesn't happen all the time. But, you cannot see the drivers stop responding. I ignore it.
