Hey will someone who really knows what they are looking at tell me if this block will work? I pulled one of my cards and it looks like it will work. But afterall, I'm a extreme novice at all of this "stuff" and I'm trying to learn as I go.

I posted a thread the other day about trying to find a water block for a 970 FTW+, we'll really I need 2 of them. So I have looked and looked, never found anything, but last night a friend sent me the attached.

I was told by someone on here that one person impaticular was good at, how did he word it "roust" one up, I think he said. Anyway, he sent me to a link that might have worked, but this one says GTX 970 and I have yet to see this.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think!! Thanks a bunch in advance

Hey also, Nate said he can build them, I will just need to find some more people to go in on it with me. Apparently because there is so much work in them, its a waste to build just one. I need 2, but if the link you have is to a M10 block and your saying it's made for my FTW+ I will give it a try. I need 2 right now, but I was going to add a third card and if I do that, the middle card will just get to hot.

Also, I was going to do a chip and board upgrade in the next few months, I'm saving for it right now( mainly because this board I have Asus Z97 - A) wont handle 3 cards, It barley handles the 2. Anyway, back to my point, I'm thinking about not doing the board and chip upgrade and just upgrade my cards to twin 980 w/ the water block ready and already installed. The more I read, it looks like 2 980s is cheaper, more FPS, plus you don't have to worry about the heat like you do with the 3x 970s.

But....Since you have found the blocks for these FTWs then I should be able to stick to my primary plan of upgrading the chip, board, and PSU. See below what I want:

    Board - ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 LGA2011-V3 DDR4 M.2 ACWiFi USB 3.1 Type A Intel X99

    Chip -  Intel I7 5930K Haswell

    PSU - EVGA - Supernova 1000 - Platinum

    What ya think???????

But the chip and board I won't be able to do for 3-4 months, it takes a little while to save that kind of dough. Also, it hinges on being able to get these blocks above, or the ones that Nate is talking about. If I cant water block the cards, 3 will get to hot, heck the 2 get hot, 1 gets to the middle 70s and the other is high 60s.

I got a buddy that has a 970 like mine the FTW+ and he said he would go in on helping pay for the build but it's still only 3, I'm trying to get him to add a 2nd card so he will need 2, but I doubt he will be able to afford it.

But I think Nate would rather not do it, especially since there will only be 3 of them, and the blocks above are pretty cheap, considering...

But anyway, thanks for all of your help, you and everybody else have been great!! I have said it before and I'm gonna say it again, the coolest most helpful mofos hang out on the EVGA forums. Everybody on this site has been AWESOME!!!!

    Thanks Again Everybody!!
