Not sure how I feel about the sound, it has a "metallic hollow" sound to it, granted most mustangs do lol I do like the amount of volume it produces though!




Dammit! I thought no one would have noticed.
 
I have a bracket that stabilizes the shifts, It's by Barton Industries.
 
When shifting too quick, The shifter often gets stuck in between 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th.
Not "Often" but you know.

That sounds real good dude. But I thought your not allowed to not take out your CATs in California because of the strict rules they have. Also they do those smog checks too.


 
Definitely isn't allowed. Fortunately, Smog isn't required for another 5 years and hook up = $200 to pass it =P


I have someone that does it for 150. Get rekt mate.


I've removed all emissions equipment from all cars that I have owned in the last eight years and still pass inspection with flying colors for under $75!

No vehicle inspection here to worry about. They move the $1 the state use to make off inspections to the yearly vehicle tag fee (2002 when they did that). The inspections are a waste of time these days. Every shop that does oil changes, already checks 90% of the stuff they do during inspection.

We got rid of vehicle inspections here in January after 20 years of sniffing tailpipes. Good thing too because cow and pig farts are way worse than vehicle exhaust.

LOL, That's Just for the Street Tune at 10.5 Degrees Timing to get the 1014 RWHP. The Tuners at my Shop say they want to go to 13 Degrees on the Timing and Increase the Compound Boost "A Few More Pounds" since as I stated in a previous post, this Hellion "Hellraiser" System has been advertised AND Proven to produce 1188 RWHP at on a STOCK 2003 Cobra!

Nah I know most people here aren't lying. Heck my buddy with a Turbo'd insight that lived in Campo, CA doesn't have to smog either. He is out of the range of the C.A.R.B. I'm probably going to register my Mustang there so I don't have to smog it ever, and I can rip all the emissions equipment off my car.

All My Mechanical work is handled Locally by HP Performance and Dyno Tuned by Tuners Inc. here in FL along with most of my Mustang Car Club Members.
They Not Only Tune my Cobra on the Dyno, But Also DURING runs at the Strip using a Laptop/Software to record and analyze the Power Curves for possible Corrections.
 
.....And Most People Think a Laptop is just for Web Surfing and Games!

Any performance increase with that though? Are you going to add a Boss intake manifold?

CAI's generally don't make much of a difference, However this one is tune required, The MAF is bigger, Which means more air which translates to more power (Not a lot, I believe when paired with a tune it makes a 10~15 RWHP difference).
 
I really love the sound it makes, That's why I get the CAI each time I modify my cars.

Make sure your filter isn't in the engine compartment. There is a reason Ford has designed the Mustangs since the 70's to draw air from the fender well, and not under the hood.

Make sure your filter isn't in the engine compartment. There is a reason Ford has designed the Mustangs since the 70's to draw air from the fender well, and not under the hood.



The 2015 has a port on grille that directs the air into the intake compartment.

Not gonna spend my money on a manifold... Even if I do want to get to 500RWHP, I'll probably just throw 100 shot onto it to achieve this.
 
I want to save for an S/C later on.
