Memory does not run at spec.....reads as no memory. set at 3100 1.35 and when computer actually starts...it runs fine and fast....so I guess. scores 7537 3dmark Firestrike extreme. Has never hung up or crashed, no bsod once windows loads. Tried many mem settings and often gets stuck early but once it loads windows..great.
BUT most of the time its hanging up somewhere on initial boot. Often hangs with code 62 southbridge initialization. it takes forever to load windows when it does start...and should be lightening fast.
Titan is in PE4 as the noctua cpu cooler blocks PE1.
ideas?
edit: quick internet search showed me lots of people having slow windows start and close. Turns out default power setting is sleep with power button not shut down. Changing this made it boot much faster. However.....one boot in 3 gangs with post code 62.
Also.....most of the SATA ports don't seem to work. Took me forever for the MB to see an add on HD. None of the Marvell 6g SATA or Intel 6G SATA connections are recognized. Only connecting it to SATA Express port worked. I can't get the MB to see a dvd drive at all.
Any chance the SSD on the m.2 PCI 3.0 slot is messing things up?
