I played for awhile yesterday,sure it looks pretty but i got bored awful fast.
And yes i know it is just a Beta,but it really did not click for me.
I think i will wait on this one,but as of now i will pass.

cant seem to target anything well using my controller (xbox360 pc)
no auto target or slow down mode, all over the place
cant fly well either, that could be a skill problem
target fine with a mouse but hope they get that fixed

Just because it plays as a shooter, doesn't mean it will be popular on the PC. Look at how bad Hardline flopped, it played as a shooter.
The spawn system in it is bad, it doesn't allow you to pick where you want to spawn. You spawn wherever it wants to place you or you select spawn on a partner. The game will spawn you right in front of the enemy to give them free kills.
spawn does blow a bit, as you say either on the other side of nowhere or right in somebodys sites

No server browser

Guess i was expecting too much out of a Star Wars game. Just about everyone i know that played the beta didn't think the game was that great. Most of Origin friends uninstall the beta after the first day.
Yeah, this is a no buy for me... Guess, we just all have to accept anything Star Wars in order to like it...

There were several things that turned me off from SWBF; one of which is when I fired several times at a target. That target turned around and took one shot and killed me. IMO, EA/DICE haven't learned their lessons from the BF4 debacle. They still have their heads stuck up their you know where. And since there will be no server browser and presumably, no admin control, this game, just like the planet HOTH, feels like a cold and barren place to be.

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with Battlefront. It was fun for maybe six hours but then it felt repetitive. I really dislike the lack of a class system (the previous battlefronts had awesome class systems along with factions!) as it takes depth away from the game.
The game feels way too shallow for me. Here I am hoping that Roller Coaster Tycoon World is good because I want to find a new game to play soon.

You should read the first page of this thread Xray.  Call of Duty is the same way. You have to put up with cheaters or leave the server. No admins to police the servers.

with my 3 screens when I look down the sights it pulls up the sights on the left screen yet still shoots in the middle making this impossible to play....

Some of that might make sense if there were a single player. Omitting it is a huge mistake and total lost opportunity. Peeps/fanboys want this for the nostalgia and a splash of the here and now which they'd only get from a story line. They aren't going to get that from multiplayer or campaigning with AI. I could understand EA leaving out single player for Battlefield series or COD but not for this title. So far I'm just very disappointed it could have been so much more.
