Computer USB issues!

My system all seems to be running really well except for the fact that various things are not recognized in the USB department. I.E. my Canon camera and Flash drives. They used to work but no longer work. Seems like USB drivers are somehow corrupted and not working properly. Anyone have this type of issue before and offer up some advice?

    Try doing a driver reinstall and see if it helps.

    Which OS? Windows 7 SP-1 changed the Windows Driver Foundation service from Automatic to Manual start and it can only be changed back though a Registry entry. I noticed that sometimes my USB devices didn't load until I changed the startup type in my Registry.
