I know I'm not. Gonna ride it out and see what the internet has to say about it. After all the issues with iOS 8 and my iPad 2 I've chosen to play it smarter this time. In all honesty the latest tech reveals from Apple has gone to show my further disinterest in wasting money on them.

I've had a lot of problems with my iPhone on iOS 8.4.1 where my battery never shows being fully charged. I don't see where I have anything to lose.

I'm just gonna wait it out as I said and see if iOS 9 really is a improvement or not before I make the leap. I already know that once I build my computer the next big upgrade I'm making after that is the move to the Kindle Fire HDX. Just too many little things about Apple's direction with hardware\software\prices that has been too off putting for the last year or so.

I just took the plunge and it took over an hour just to download it. My battery still shows the lightning bolt instead of the USB icon when it's 100% charged so either that's by design or my iPhone 5 is failing.

No improvement for me. Now my email takes three times longer to load and check for new mail. My weather app doen't give me any data using the location services. I had to enter my location manually and use that page to get any information about the weather in my area.

I think it's my battery failing on top of everything else. I ordered one from Amazon earlier today for $20 with all tools needed. I already have the pentalobe driver and suction cup. I guess you can never have enough spare tools, lol.

I updated my iPad last night, but so far don't really see a difference.  Although I really only use my iPad for Facebook and Web Surfing.

I noticed that when I open a browser link in my email I now have a 'left arrow' to return to email. Some of the icons look different but not much going on that I can see.

I had some with iCloud backups when I first upgraded but now all seems to be fine.
The only new tool I turned off was the News.
I do like the update they did with SIRI and added the SIRI Suggestions Window.

iCloud Backups also seem to work much better after 9.0.1 is installed.
Some small changes under Photos that I do not care for but will get use to the changes.

Like it randomly Facetimed someone out of my contacts list at 3:15am last night. Someone I definitely don't want to contact at 3:15am ever. Within Diagnostics & Usage Data there are a bunch of logs for issues.

I finally updated to iOS 9 once 9.0.1 came out. My iPad 2 feels much snappier and faster. However despite reading that iOS 9 causes slowdown issues on the iPhone 4S I went ahead and updated it. Oh well. Hopefully in a few more updates they fix the iPhone 4S issues but it's no big deal. I barely use the phone.

I think my iPhone is finally dying. Replacing the battery didn't help and sometimes the icons flicker. Email is horribly slower since upgrading to iOS 9.0.1

iOS 9.0.1 seems fine on my iPhone 6..but I really have to say I'm not happy with the direction Apple went...

I think I'm going to try an Android phone next time.

I'm leaning towards a 6S Plus but it won't fit into that Google Cardboard gadget that agent8 talked me into getting. I've been having a blast playing with that thing. It was the best 10 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Now you tell me! At least it was quick and relatively painless. The download completed in no time at all since their servers weren't bogged down this time like they were with iOS 9.

Well, I no longer have an itemized list of voice messages. Now when I select listen to messages I have to make a call and listen to a voice telling me which options are available and which number to press. Maybe there's a setting that I need to change back or this is permanent?
