Hello, I just upgraded to my set up to the Asus Z10PE-D8 WS with (4) Evga Titans. I am getting this error thousands of times. I have tried all OS and swapped out all parts but the titans. I seems to be a problem with the video cards and board as it runs with out error on the on board VGA. Is anyone else getting this error? I have seen that the X99 platform had similar issues, but I cant find a solution. I would appreciate any suggestions. A corrected hardware error has occurred. Component: PCI Express Root Port Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express) Bus:Device:Function: 0x80:0x2:0x0 Vendor ID:Device ID: 0x8086:0x2f04 Class Code: 0x30400 The details view of this entry contains further information.

Are you on Bios Version 0905? Is this a New OS Install? What OS? Do you have any Error Codes? Have you tested only 3 Cards? I came close getting that MB and stopped because of all the issues with 4 Video Cards installed and went with the X99 Classified MB for 4 GTX 980 HC Cards

Yes...Here are the specs of my machine. Motherboard BIOS Revision : 0905 VGA Card Model : Titan VGA Card Driver : 347.88 CPU Intel Dual Xeon E5-2697 V3 Memory Crucial: 32 Gig kit CT4K8G4VFS4213 Hard Drive Vertex 3 250G Windows 7 Pro but tried ultimate and 8.1 Pro too. Does anyone else with this board get this error in the event viewer? Happens even with a single card.

And the Motherboard you had before worked fine with 4 Titans? What MB was it? Was the Version of Windows your tried x64 or x86? Do You do have the Current Chip Set Software installed? Also setting the Bus frequency over 100Mhz can cause this error from what I have read. Do you have a old GPU you can test with, it might help to troubleshoot your Memory Errors. I do not think that your Graphics Cards are the Problems here. As a test install a Non Windows OS

Yes, the motherboard was the previous model Z9PE-D8-WS and all worked well. Windows 7 Pro X64 Tried Ultimate and 8.1 Pro same errors. All drivers and chip set software are up to date. No overclocking all settings at stock. No memory errors, runs well on the on board graphics with no video cards installed.

Maybe the CPU and Motherboard Combo have problems. Do you have some non Zeon CPU you can test. X99 made some big changes, maybe not all the best.

I don't have any to test at the moment. I'm going to try an AMD card and see what happens.

After seeing the issue you are having I am so glad I did not get that Motherboard. Still I wanted a Two CPU Socket Motherboard. But I well end my New Motherboard buying days with the EVGA X99 Classified. It runs 4-Way SLI with no issues and is a nice overall motherboard for Gaming and Folding and Crunching.

I have this error too. My pic specs are: Dual Xeon E5 2690 v3 Asks Z10PE-D8 WS 32GB RAM Crucial M550 Corsair 1200watt Gigabyte Titan X Now I face a new issue as the m/b cannot load with an Evga 680 card, it just beeps many times and I have no image on screen. I almost all PCI slots, but didn't help. Definitely it's something wrong with the m/b

Has this issue been resolved? I'm getting the same error but noticed only one of the two Titans causes it (the one in slot 3). I'm getting the same error on a similar setup: Mainboard: Asus Z10PE-D8 WS VGA Card Model : EVGA Titan (2) in top 2 x16 bit slots (1 & 3) VGA Card Driver : 353.62 CPU: Intel Dual Xeon E5-2640 V3 Memory Crucial: 128 Gig Samsung Hard Drive: Samsung SM951 M.2 Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit Here's the error: A corrected hardware error has occurred. Component: PCI Express Root Port Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express) Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x3:0x0 Vendor ID:Device ID: 0x8086:0x2F08 Class Code: 0x30400 The details view of this entry contains further information.

Hi guys, it seems that no fix was planned. I get thousands whea-logger id 17 by minutes and i have the last bios version 1202. I know my Gigabyte GTX 680 work as well as with my previous motherboard (x58a-ud5), the only difference is it works on a pci express 16x v3.0 port and before it works on an pci express 16x v2.0 port. There is no way to downgrad pcie bandwith into Z10PE-D8's bios. We could just deactivate Diagnostics Policy Service in order to avoid logging these thousand errors on hard disk.

The only thing that works is an AMD card!...I called ASUS tech support submitted a ticket and went back and forth with them for weeks they even had me fill out and send them a customer specification and test sheet "so they can test the configuration" but I never hard back and when I called to follow up it like starting all over again so gave up. They are no help what so ever.

I think it's time to switch to an Evga mobo so if you have any problem, at least you know you will get good Customer Support.
