I need the bios that unlocks the fan for my GTX570 HD (part #012-P3-1571) as it's locked at 40%. Before I was made aware that this was the issue with it, my card was RMA'd twice. I realize this is an old card, chronologically, but this particular card doesn't even have a full week's worth of usage on it so I don't want to replace it. I've opened a ticket but my issue wasn't resolved. My BIOS version is 70.10.58.00.70 which has a December 7, 2010 release date. Surely there is a newer one available? I'd appreciate any help with this as I'm at my wit's end. Thanks.

Here is the fan unlocker & how to use it...

#1 Download GTX 570 Fan Unlocker. Link
#2 Extract the files to your desktop.
#3 Run Update.exe.
#4 Press "Y" to begin the update.

DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS!

#5 After update is complete, Restart PC.
#6 Re-install the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers after bootup.
#7 vBIOS should be updated & fan unlocked.

The reason it's not working is because the one I posted was for the regular GTX 570 HD (#012-P3-1571-KR)

Yours is a GTX 570 HD Superclocked (#012-P3-1573-KR)  You will need to use this file.

Sounds like you may need to reapply the thermal paste on your 570. The rebooting is most likely being caused by the card getting too hot or a psu problem.

I've reapplied paste. Down GPU clock and Memory Clock temperature still rises but now game was running for around half an hour.

Are you able to bring up task manger to get out of the black screen or must you reboot the computer?

Re: GTX570 HD BIOS firmware? 2015/09/14 01:59:17 (permalink)
I am unable to bring anything after black screen shows up. Monitor shows message No Signal (like someone unplugged monitor from CPU) and I have to restart pc to make it work again. But few times when black screen shows up system restart itself or sometimes become unresponsive then you have to do it manually. This only happens when you run the game. If you run game and minimize it, it will not create problem and temperature stays normal but when you maximize the game it will rises the temperature and other problem like black screen. I have ran test through MSI after burner and other software to check GPU limits they work fine I've also put full load on card (99%) through MSI After Burner but no problem. It only happens when i run games.

What are your full system specs? Does running driver 340.52 fix the black screen problem? Does underclocking the card help get rid of the black screen?

Re: GTX570 HD BIOS firmware? 2015/09/15 06:24:02 (permalink)
My System Specs are:-

Core i7 4790k
Gskill Sniper 8gb 1800mhz
Asus Maximus VII Ranger Motherboard
Cooler Master 600watt PSU
2 TB HDD
120gb SSD

Well when i was running Driver 340.52 it was working fine. But when the update released I update the drivers and this start happening. If i underclock the card I can get rid of black screen sometimes.

This is starting to sound like a driver problem.

This is on the newer drivers correct?

Do you have another pc to test the card in? If so, I would recommend doing that. If not, take the card to your local computer repair shop to have it tested.
