I need some help here please. I've tried using the v7 client on my pc to connect into the v7 client running on my file server, but I can not get them to connect. I opened the port in the Firewall which I don't think you should have to do, but it still didn't help. I have configured the file server client to allow remote control requiring a password and also not to require a password, but I can not connect to it.

I see Fahmon doesn't support the v7 client, so that's no good.

I tried HFM.NET, but it wouldn't connect to my file server either.

Right now I have to open a remote desktop to check in on the file server client, which works, but I'm sure it doesn't yield well to the gpu folding while I'm connected.

I'd really like to check in on the client without using remote desktop. Any help here would be much appreciated.

Not sure, but I think my issues was I needed to stop the client on the file server after making the remote connection changes and restart it and that let my local client to connect to the file server client.

That was the solution listed for the iPhone app I tried also. One of these days I'll try it again, it's free, and start the app before I start the Folding client and see what happens.

I have a Galaxy 3, so iPhone apps are no good to me. Thanks though.

It gives me a possible solution as to why I couldn't monitor from my iPhone. There are Folding apps for other phones too.

I just use Teamviewer so I can connect from a PC or my phone.  Have never had problems with folding or crunching while connected.
