    Oh, it will let you filter children out of the game? That is good. I hate listening to children talk crap into their microphones.

    That would be children playing on the PC you are hearing then.  PS4 and PC don't cross platform the chat/voice.
     
    This is weird to me though, why would you make the game cross platform to have a bigger player base, then filter those players out?

    Bit of a head scratcher, but I can only assume that PC players are dominating the PS4 players. That would be the only reason to implement a filter like this.

    I don't really see the point.  I'm using a DualShock 4 to play so it's not the mouse vs controller argument.
    I didn't know about the chat restrictions.  Whenever I heard idiots yelling in chat I figured it was a PS4 player!
