I am trying to get an Intel 750 PSI-e SSD setup as my boot drive, but I can't get it to do so. I cloned my current drive and installed the latest drivers and BIOS update. What am I missing?

Also I am trying to run the full 8 sticks of 8g RAM, however the system won't recognize DIMM slots 8/7, and CH1 shows blank. (CH0, CH2, & CH3 show settings under them.) I can swap around the sticks but the issue stays with those DIMM slots. Anything I need to do? Ir is it a bad board. I've populated 1,3,5,7 with the black RAM, 2,4,6,8 with the white, also tried 1,2,3,4 with the black, and 5,6,7,8 with the white (currently this way now also)

Intel i7-4930k
X79 Dark
GTX Titan
4- Team Xtreme 8G DDR3 2400 in black
4- Team Xtreme 8G DDR3 2400 in white
Liquid cooling blocks on the CPU and GPU

please be patient with me, I'm somewhat computer literate but not extremely so.

So when in the Bios, what shows up as far as your Drives and what is detected in the main screen for dimm slots occupied?

Are you running UEFI and if so does the Windows UEFI boot loader show up if the boot order?

I talked with tech support and since the boards under warranty I am getting it replaced.

The main screen only shows the first 4 from left to right as "8" skips 2 slots and the let two show "8". And I'm not 100% on the uefi other than that did show in the boot screen section.

I was wondering if you tried that item in the very last PCI-E slot

I did not try it in the last PCI-E. I did ask Customer Support while talking about the DIMM issue about it and they stated that the X79 will not boot from PCI-E.

How long before you receive the replacement board?

I'm suppose to be receiving it Thursday this week, I opted to buy a new one first and return my defective one for a credit. I submitted that on the 31st, so about 11 days if it shows tomorrow.
