H100 was my last AIO cooler, next is little liquid cooling system.
I would like most on Rampage 5 Extreme Black and ASUS Titan X with waterblock.

I haven't any issue with the Corsair Link software myself. No idea about the ROG front base though. Only thing I want to see improved is more control over the pump speed than just Quiet and Performance mode which are static values and not even curves.

Not only that, but the temperature on my 4790k is reported as 0 Degrees Celcius.. And it is apperently a big problem that corsair has, because i called them and they just told me to do a lot of registry edits and everything..
I did those registry edits and it still doesn't work tho.. But yea.. i might remove the corsair link cable now, since i don't use it anyways..
Did you see tiny tom logan's review?.. apperently this thing is outperforming the Fractal design S36 (360mm radiator)

Yeah I saw it. To be fair, the Kelvin S36 uses low RPM fans but still I find that hard to believe. Too bad I don't have the S36 to test out myself. This thing barely beat out the Swiftech H220-X as it is with fans at full speed. It's good- but not all that good too.

EDIT: The Kelvin uses 1700 RPM fans, and the ones that comes with the H110i is 2100.. not that massive a difference.. :).. not in noise either though

I mean, still tho.. it's pretty impressive.. The block on this must be very good.. I'm impressed with it so far  but i did have the H60 before i got the H110 without the "i", so that's about all the experience i have with it ;)..

And about the fans, they are impressive tho even though they are noisy at full speed. They move a lot of air.. plus they can go very silent at like 300-400 rpm..
Though what i found was there was no real difference when you go above 1500 rmp in terms of temps..

hello, sorry if I write this post a bit dated but it is very useful. Also I have a h110i and a maximus VII hero. I noticed that the screws remain a bit 'raised from the surface of the motherboard. I wanted to ask politely that have thick squares of cardboard that you put behind the backplate. how many mm are? I await your response and thank you very much

My H80i never made proper contact with the CPU and the temps under load would shoot straight to 90°C. I didn't have any small washers to put under the screws so I used double-stick tape under the bracket.

Did you checked your bracket???
User manual for CORSAIR coolers explain everything... it's not only on H110i GT and new cooler...
On H80 and H100 is same... I don't even understand how he success to install cooler on that way if bracket is not turned properly...
This is from paper...

On X99 motherboards now only install pump over 4 screws, very simple.

What was the purpose of the cardboard shimming?

Because the Stud from the backplate goes above the motherboard like this:

Excellent! Thank you for adding that info.

No problems at all m8 :)..

Hello, sorry to reuse this old post but I had a lot of trouble with 2-h110i gt and I wanted to use your system to see if it improves the temperature on a h110i gt again I just bought ...
I found the washers Nylon
My motherboard is a Maximus VII Hero with an i7 4790 K and in Aida test after an hour reaches 80 ° !!!
I do not know what to do.
Faore wanted to ask you ... but what is the thickness I need to do on bacplate ...
2 mm? 3mm.? etc ....
I leave the thermal paste pre-applied?
I ask for help because they are months that I continue and I never managed to fall below 80 ° to 4.7 ghz :(
Confident of your opinion thank you in advance.
Thanks so much
