Why would they do this? I wish they would just bring back in game server browsers. 

The force obviously isn't strong with them, trying these Jedi mind tricks.  They need to realize these tricks don't work with us only money!

And simultaneous destroy any chance of the game having any kind of longevity. 

I like the paradigm that EA/Dice is trying to set: innovating by going backwards.

I say wait it out. They are accepting (constructive, which seems difficult for a lot of people lately) feedback as owcraftsmen mentioned and have made game changes in the past based upon user feedback. Plus, we're making assumptions based on something we've not seen yet.

 
Who's make assumptions? The game will not have a server browser according to EA community manager who doesn't release information unless it's approved by EA first. You clearly don't know EA very well.  They do whatever they want.  They didn't make a single player for Star Wars Battlefront because they claim "not that many people would play it".  That is a straight up LIE from EA. More like they removed part of the game so they can rush the game out.
 
Let's not forget EA was voted worse US company two times.

BF4 is a good example.

Yep, I can see it now: patches that create more problems than they solve. And two years after the game launches, more of the same.

If EA wasn't bad enough, DICE itself has turned to the dark side.

I will probably buy the game...... but i had plans to buy it on PC. I think i will just buy it for the xbox one (for my son) and that is it. So they get one sale instead of two, or even three.
