Hy guys,

I just recieved my Classified a few hours ago and I`m a little bit suprised. MAybe I read wrong but I was thinking the fans on the ACX turn completly off under 60°. The fans of my card are always on. Below the 60° they show 15% with about 465RPM. As u see in the fancurve I set it it to 0% but that has no impact.
Can someone help me out?

Thnaks in advance,

Precision X 5.x.X is terrible. Try AB or PX 4.2.1.

Tried AB with the same result. Also tried the 353.62 cause I also had fan issues in another build which was caused by the nv-driver.
Sadly nothing changed.

According to this fan curve, it's doing what it's supposed to do.

You mean cause it 32° and thresh is 30? I readjusted that so that the thresh is 60° and even then the fans are spinning. Also wenn I don`t use a custom curve they are spinning under 60° which they shouldn`t do if I´m not wrong.

If you have precision open, close it and make sure it is closed.. Use gpuz to monitor the fan.. Also, take a glance inside the case.. With Precision closed, is the fan running?

Hi I tried that already and yes, I can see the fan running and gpuz shoes the following:
The fans also did that when I did the fresh install and didn`t have precision. Kinda strange

Hmm. Contact support and ask them to send you over the stock bios for the card. They have it set in a simple click and it works type of thing, so maybe it just needs a refresh.

Try switching to normal BIOS and reinstall the Nvidia drivers afterwards. I have found out, that the new BIOS gets only active when reinstalling drivers. The 15% fan speed on idle indicate you are still running LN2 BIOS.

Now I think something... really bad because people didn't know that waterblock for 780-780Ti-980Ti Classified will fit on few cards...
Because more people could invest in some cheaper version of custom loop or water cooling kit with graphic card waterblock...

EKWB Predator is excellent, he could stay 3-4-5 years on CPU and gamers only to replace hydro copper graphic cards, quick disconnect is there...
I suppose temps with EKWB Predator 360 with i7-5820K/5930K and EVGA 980Ti/TITAN X SC will be OK for gaming in silence.
OK I don't like completely silence, I love to hear little "machine" to work but Airflow and sound of air from fans is OK for me.

Maybe EKWB Predator 360m can cool down and little overclocked i7-5960X and 980Ti Classified...
If he success to keep temps below 60C that's amazing.

There $944 on the Canadian site and in stock that is a bit more most likely because the US dollar here is $1.35 to ours.

Then I take it you don't purchase anything from Newegg either, Right?

I buy from newegg as a last resort since I have to use my forwarding address to ship to my country.

Either way my Amazon order is now preparing for shipment and my card is charged so it's all good. Coming with a evga 1300 g2 psu as well :)

5th time is a charm. Got my 5th 980 Ti in which is a classified. ASIC of 71.7%.

So my summary as follows.
MSI 980 Ti - 63.X% ASIC - 1440/7800 volts did nothing
EVGA 980 Ti SC+ - 68.9% ASIC - 1480/8200 (w/ default bios and +50 mv) and 1510/8000 (w/ 1.237 v bios)
Classified 980 Ti - 70.3% ASIC - 1506/8200 (w/ LN2 default bios) and 1530/8200 (w/ 1.237 volts)
Classified 980 Ti - 72.9% ASIC - 1518/8200 (w/ LN2 default bios) and 1535/8200 (w/ 1.237 volts)
Classified 980 Ti - 71.7% ASIC - 1506/8200 (w/ LN2 default bios) and 1535/8200 (w/ 1.237 volts)

FWIW.

My Classified runs at 73.9% ASIC - 1535/8000 (w/ LN2 default bios) (w/ 1.230 volts) (benchmarks only)
1500/8000 (w/ LN2 default bios) (w/ 1.230 volts) stable in all games.

From reading various forums, this seems to be right in line with what everyone else is getting.

My classifieds are not liking the volts. This new card starts crashing if I give it volts. It is either that or the 355.82 drivers are causing havoc on my overclock. Too bad I can't roll back since I need SLi in MGS V and Mad Max.

I have been game stable at 1481/8000 though in MGS V.
