The pump/radiator is optional and will allow you to push the system to the limit.

I think it's a very interesting idea although I'm going to stick with the Clevo DM series with a skylake desktop CPU and 990M MXM GPU.

It's nice to see people actually experimenting with gaming laptops again.

That's because people are angry and complain on last high end models drop clock because overheating graphic card and CPU. No this is completely losing concept of laptops... Laptops should be simple and capable to put in rucksack and walk with him normal. It's better than Lian-Li Wall mountable cases are more practical than this.
I like their laptops, but if cooling is not problem, not this.

When I think of PC gaming a laptop is the last thing I think of. If you want to do PC gaming you should do it right or not at all.

I think some of you are not understanding that a product like this makes sense to certain people and it's not their main gaming rig (like me).  I at home have a really nice desktop computer, but I also have an Alienware 18 with an i7 4930MX extreme and dual 780Ms.  Why do I have both?  Because I simply would NOT want to dissemble my desktop and lug that thing around (so big and heavy).  While my Alienware 18 isn't a small laptop, it is MUCH easier to simply pick up and take with me.  I have the best of both worlds; an amazing desktop at home and a great portable gaming laptop I can take anywhere.

My Alienware 18 does get really hot when being fully taxed and I would love to have an option like this for my laptop.

For some reason laptop gaming is seen as black and white here ManBearPig. I also still have my Alienware with the 4930MX & 780m SLI. However I'll be selling it for the Clevo P751DM-G when it's released.

You cannot carry a desktop(mini itx or not) as easy as a gaming laptop. Just last week I took my Alienware laptop to my friends house so a bunch of my friends can play some games I had on steam. All I needed was my laptop, ac adapter and four xbox one controllers. Simply plug into the tv through HDMI and you're good to go.

With a desktop it'd be much heavier and bulkier, I need more things, mouse, kb, etc.

If someone wants to get into PC gaming but wants a gaming laptop, it seems to be looked down upon here, I don't know why. This is why I spend more time on the NBR forums.

Does it matter if a PC gamer is using a laptop or desktop? I mean I still have a desktop(see mod rigs) but I like being able to take my laptop to work or a friends house and game.

And it packs a punch as well. Dual 780m SLI can beat a single 980. It's almost 980Ti level and that's the GPUs from 2013. 980M sli easily defeats Titan X and can keep up with 970 SLI.

Yes you pay a premium but you can take it anywhere like a regular laptop(they have thin laptops as well, so can't say they're bulky).

Before few months I even thought to maybe cross on laptop but I must decide desktop or laptop...
I liked ASUS with 4860HQ processor and GTX980 but I decide to stay with desktop...
