Ordered a cheap gpu to test dice and ln2 with (cheaper than breaking expensive gpus) and this code comes with it. Metal Gear Solid 4 was the reason I bought a PS3, so I hope this one doesn't disappoint.

Please keep this thread up to date on your thoughts.. I am out of town until this weekend.

Crash on launch . Cant get game to work. Looks like Many users like myself have to wait for a patch before we get to play. Getting real tired of buggy games. Glad this was a freebie.

My game crashed at first. Just tried again and worked. I am even on windows 10. It doesn't like to be minimized it crashes when you try.. Also I think my after burner makes it crash more

After a couple tries got it to start but cant change any graphic options. The options change in menu but do not take effect. Looks like this is going to be a buggy one.

Disregard last post. I guess the graphic options are working. I am amazed though that with everything maxed at 2560x 1600 I am only getting about 30 percent gpu usage. Cards only reaching 50c and nice smooth 60fps.

Is the Nvidia promotion on steam?

If so, I can redeem it. Amazon sent me my code about an hour after ordering.

I used my code from Newegg they gave through the promotion. Yes you download the game from Steam after you redeem through Nvidia.

Woo-hoo! I can go ahead and claim my code then. I was worried it would be on some other software, like origin or something.. I like steam and the way it works.

Its frustrating to get so many games that are broken on release.

How are the pop ins while walking around? The Witcher 3 looks gorgeous but grass and shadow pop in was distracting.

the only thing i dont like about the "world" is when you go inside a building or house and come out, you get  blinded and kinda hurts my eyes at times.

shadows are spot on, the enemy's can see your shadows and will attack you if they do

Played some more today, game runs flawlessly at 4K. Wish I could run it at 6K, GPU's aren't being used enough. Does Gedosato work with this game?

Got about 60 hours in so far now on second part. Game is getting pretty dull, doing the same things over and over. One nice thing is this is the best optimized game I ever played. Not one single crash since first patch. I wish gta 5 played like this without crashing to desktop.

    Asus Sabertooth x99
    5930k (4.5ghz)
    16gb Corsair DDR4 (3000)
    EVGA 1000w psu
    Zotac 980ti x 2
    Samsung 850 pro 500 SSD
    HPLP3065 30in Monitor 2560x1600
