This is updated and live now.  I checked and the memory is showing as limited lifetime on the product pages.  As to your text suggestion, we will look into this and see if any further changes are necessary.

It is now showing Lifetime Warranty, thank you.
 
What about if Micro Center shuts their doors? What happens with the Warranty then?

Thank you for your feedback, but I can confirm that we do not say that warranty can only be obtained through Microcenter as this is not a accurate statement. I apologize as I do see why this could have been confusing and we have updated any text that was likely causing this confusion.
 
I assure you that we do stand behind our products and while Microcenter is recommended as the first avenue for warranty on these products, we are here to assist directly if further support is needed.

This was an oversight on our part and was not brought up to us until now.  This will be fixed first thing on Monday as noted above.  As to warranty terms, please see http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/.  We do mention there that : 
Warranty Support can be obtained from Microcenter directly. Please contact your local store if warranty support is required.

 
We apologize for any confusion and again, this will be updated on Monday as mentioned.

Good this will get fixed on the My Products page.
 
On the Warranty. It says "Warranty Support can be obtained from Microcenter directly". It does not say this is your ONLY Warranty avenue, reads more like you have a choice to take it back to Micro Center for the life of the Warranty.




 
But then it says this, "Please contact your local store if warranty support is required"
 
That is cut and dry.


Not really, the sentence before that needs some work to make the part you pointed out to make it cut and dry.
 
It should read as
 
"Warranty Support can ONLY be obtained from Microcenter directly. Please contact your local store if warranty support is required."

Wow, that's a big change. So just to make sure I'm reading this right. If need be I can send the memory to EVGA for replacement, I just need to call or email EVGA for the RMA?

In the unlikely event that you do have an issue with your EVGA memory, we would request that you do try to exchange the item with the store to avoid downtime.  If this is not something that will work for you, then please call our support and explain the issue at hand with exchanging the memory with the store and we can then work with you from there.

Case closed.
 
I really didn't want to take the memory back, but would have.
 
Now I'm running all EVGA except SSD's and Case. EVGA X99 Classified, EVGA Titan X SC , EVGA DDR4 2800Mhz Memory and EVGA 1300w PSU.

The whole community deserved to have this issue resolved. Started with not even being able to register EVGA memory, then snowballed into the warranty issue once EVGA got a set registered for me and I saw a 3 year warranty and only through Micro Center.
 
I started a thread in the WTB/For Sale section offering to pick up this memory for people that didn't have a Micro Center near them, but wanted EVGA memory in their system. I had to put a stop on that one due to the warranty limitations, because of the cost and time involved for someone to send a set that went bad back to me then I would have to take it to Micro Center for the Lifetime Warranty.
 
As a second owner you still only get a 3 year warranty.
 
But a T-shirt is on the way to me.

Here is another one to think about on the Micro Center Warranty part. What if they are out of stock of the memory you need? Like right now, my Micro Center is out of stock on both 8 and 16Gb DDR3-1600 memory kits. They may offer you a choice in faster memory, but what if you have 2 kits? Are they going to upgrade the kit that works fine too?
 

 
Check your Micro Center and see how low they keep the stock on this memory.

G.Skill reigns supreme on that avenue with lifetime support and sacrificial timings, there is a reason their ranked #1 in terms of performance and price... Close second IMO is Corsair..

Glad you was able to resolve the issue however with the Ram and get it sorted with the warranty.

With EVGA's Memory Warranty I agree 100%, it's 2nd rate. Nothing like other quality brands such as G.Skill, Corsair, Crucial and such.
 
I bought it not knowing the Warranty restrictions as EVGA did not have the Warranty conditions listed correctly, at least not in the way I was reading it.
 
I wont buy EVGA Memory again or recommend it with the current in place Warranty. EDIT: See post 54 lol.
 
As for quality, the memory is working perfectly, even over clocks pretty decently and it's pretty cool to have all EVGA parts in the main foundation of my build, motherboard, vid card, memory and psu. I'm not happy with the Warranty they have in place. Not used to EVGA playing second fiddle to other manufactures in the warranty department.

I do agree that EVGA should be lifetime just like every other memory brand. If they aren't then that's just their downfall. One  thing I don't like is that they're limited on the selection of DDR4. However G.SKILL wins on Memory hands down and it's why I've ran nothing but them since forever.
