Figured the overclockers here would enjoy an interview with one of the top overclockers in the world, 8 Pack. He's regularly trying to kick your best man's (K|ngp|n) ass but not always successfully, hehe :).
 
"I started overclocking about fifteen years ago, something like that. Actually because I was initially a gamer and I wanted to make the frame-rates faster. So I downloaded some benchmarks to check where my system was against other people, and was like "oh, my God, my system is not very good here, so I'd best improve". So I tried to improve to make my games faster because I was in a gaming clan. So then I started overclocking."

nice.    There was this one LAN party I hosted where me and my buddy slugged it out on Heaven for a while with our X58's, him running two GTX470s and me running a GTX590.  He was able to keep about 60 points ahead but it was fun as we were doing that for hours.  The other guys were just kinda like "wut...." but none the less one of the best overclocking experiences I have had for a while.
