I have a error on post the board shows FF

Yesterday my computer was churning along happily and no sign of trouble.  I had to reboot for software installation and when it should have rebooted it only showed FF on the display.  I have tried everything I can think off, switched between BIOSes tried clearing the bios, removed all power and taken the battery out to make sure the BIOS clears.  All to no avail, I even have removed all peripherals and drives all expansion cards and removed memory and still no dice.  The board doesn't seem to try to boot there are no numbers that flicker on the display. FF comes immediately after I power up.
 
So I wonder does anyone have any idea what could be going on or point me in a direction where I might find some info?

    SR2 or SRX
    tried to reseat  cpu ?
    treid boot only with one  and the cpu 1 removed not just disabled by jumper .

    The Board is the humongus sr-2 classified.  I will try reseating the cpu's. But it will take some time (busy schedule). I'll post updates after I reseat the cpus.  Thx for the input.
