Two days ago I installed to Windows 10 to an empty SSD.  Leaving my old drive with windows 8.1 intact in case I want to quickly roll back.  Precision X about one year ago had an issue with a computers with more than 4 GPUs.  Unfortunately it still has this same issue.  You get an error message stating “Too many GPUS”

I only run Precision just for the GPU temp readout on my Logitech keyboard.

I no longer have a copy 4.2.1 precision.  I did find it from a less than reputable source it scans ok but I am still very concerned.

Can EVGA moderator post this 4.2.1 somewhere on EVGA?  Or at the very lease post the CRC for 4.2.1 file so I can make sure my download copy has no malicious code.

This is the link to mine that I have been using for years. It is a .exe, so when you load it, it will say it could be malicious code. I have it on the forums many times and there is nothing wrong with it. EVGA, more than likely, will not provide the old code since they haven't in the past.

Ah ok. Yeah I am not sure how they would go about that. There aren't many people running 5 gpus out there and using overclocking software with them.

In testing 3 GTX 690 GPUs I had the same issue and EVGA PrecisionX 16 could only see 4 of the 6 GPUs.
I did report this issue at the time but because 1 out off 10,000 users may use more than 4 GPUs

Scarlet-Tech I don't use Precision for overclocking I use it only for monitoring.  Thank you for the 4.2.1 it works great in Windows 10.  It sees all 5 GPU and displays them on the Logitech keyboard without any issue.  I am glad I am using it as I saw something very odd when playing ESO the game only in windows 10 goes to (windowed full screen mode) and will not go to full screen normal mode and the GPUs go to 100% usage.  It still works but instead of getting the 100 FPS I normally get it is down to 34 FPS +- and the temp even under water cooling goes up to 40c normally it is 33c.  With G-SYNC even at 34FPS I cannot tell there is a problem with the naked eye.   Using Precision as a temp gauge and usage monitor is great as it tells you if something is wrong.  You are correct that not many people would have 5 GPUs but EVGA as a company that makes money off the sale of video cards you would think there new and improved Precision software would still have the same basic functionality of the legacy Precision software.  Anyway thanks again for the 4.2.1 version.
