I haven't been able to play the game from patch 2.0 onwards.

Starting the race (free practice etc) used to make the game crash with some message. After 2.5, there is no message just the music keeps playing at loading screen. The picture of the track doesn't come up either. I tried going in to garage and it stopped again.

After applying the latest patch (3.0), nothing has been solved.

I even deleted the graphic settings file but it solved nothing.

You still playing that crack? Works fine for me.

Back in with the GOTY edition.

I have to learn everything again now. I had custom settings for my keyboard and settings for each and every car I liked to drive and some generic settings I applied to every car.

Of course, now the graphic settings!. I have to tune them all over again to reach the sweet spot for me.

Time to start all over but I was seriously missing some driving in the old Spa and Nordy!.

LOL this thread is dead for 3 months short of an year!.

I dont need any inspiration.

From the last time I played it, game has changed... alot.

I feel some sounds have changed. There were only a couple of cars with extremely "bass-y" accelerating sound. Two Mercedes specially. Nothing now.

Radbul is mental. Absolutely undrivable!. I was like must be 1000HP or something. Check the stats... 1200HP. OK!. Utter nonsense!, this car is!.

That Indy Car is a beast. Slower than Formula A and I think even LMP1 but damn!, it sounds beautiful and looks beautiful!.

Had to download and install again because I miss driving at Spa, Nordy and other couple of tracks. I really made a mistake not keeping my career mode (save). I spent a long time in it. Have to start all over. Then again I usually just drive in free practice mode. I prefer the track alone to me self. :D

Hopefully the game saves files will be improved on Pcars2. I'm in the habit of regularly saving that file to my desktop.  I had a BSOD in game due to my PC and that file got corrupted Had to start all over again. I've been saving to DT after every career advancement.

I understand the Radbull is mental in real life as well. Need to turn boost down in it.

+1  I love playing this game. Yeah, for the one's that you can adjust and you feel over powered try turning the boost down. It will help with engine wear also.

If you save car settings like I do, you can go to this site and save them. It's another source of backup. You can save them per track and conditions if you like. You can save them publicly for others to see, or private as well.

 http://projectcarssetups.eu/#/bycar

I open the site before launching the game. At that point you can alt/tab to DT back and forth. It can get mind numbing specially when saving dampening settings. If the game stutters when going back to it, just alt/tab and try again.
