I have just updated my PC to windows 10 x64.
I'm running stock q9550 (socket 775) with a evga 790i ultra sli, with stock 2x 4gb 1333 team elite RAM (9-9-9-24, 1.5 v) with p10 BIOS and a Samsung 830 120 GB SSD. BIOS with default settings.
Sometimes windows "survives" about 30-40 minutes, sometimes just seconds.
I tried diferent dimms, different slots, with just one at the time... On windows 7 x64, my PC worked fine. I also tried different SATA port for SSD (I have 2 disks, one SSD and one HDD Toshiba 2,5 320 GB). By now I use the red SATA port.
I have a zotac GTX 550ti and a CX 430 80 plus PSU.
Does anyone have similar problem? What can I do to solve it? Tanks...

Make sure you have updated to the windows 10 chipset driver, as well as all other available windows 10 compatible drivers. Some windows 8.1 drivers will replace those that aren't windows 10 specific at this time. If it isn't listed under win 10, try using the windows 8.1 driver.

+1 to this. Look in your device manager and see if any items have yellow exclamation marks next to them.

Here all you need download Chipset from EVGA Download Centre here >EVGA EVGA Download Centre. You can find motherboard on top tab then find right parts number for your motherboard 790i ultra sli to download Chipset & Network Version 15.58. But there no support for Windows 10!

I not sure it will support on Windows 10 64 bit!! Let try Windows 7 64 bit mmm...

Well I tried nForce 15.58 (windows 10 updated automaticly). Same problem. Does anyone have this issue? How about fernando's chipset (modded) drivers? I'll try those modded drivers and will report it....

Did you upgrade to windows 10 or did you do a clean install of windows 10? If you upgraded you should try doing a clean install instead to see if it fixes the issue.

I did a clean install to avoid issues...
    It is frustrating...
I just remember that it could be my tp-link pci card... It haves windows 10 drivers avaiable, but i remember that with seven i had some problems at first until a new update...

Got it. TP Link PCI card was the problem. It looks like that w10 don't like PCI cards with pci-ex cards connected at the same time... Hope this helps someone! 😊
