Hi
Hoping this problem may of come up before.  Since I installed GeForce GT730 my pc will shut down if left idle for 20 mins.  I have uninstalled drivers/disabled card and using onboard graphics and pc works fine.  So I have nailed it down to new graphics card.
Have updated BIOS before installation.  Have tried all different power options/sleep states but no change.
I wonder if there is something related to power supply and new graphics card when idle that causes this.  I have Cooler Master RS-460-PCAR-I3 power supply.
Help someone plz.

    Hello Mac,

We do apologize for any issues with your GT 730. If not done already, please make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date and try rolling back to driver 337.88 with a clean installation. Also, if possible, try testing in another system or using another card as using the on board graphics is not a good test as it does not use the same components or power draw a physical graphics card would.

    Hi Tim
Thanks for reply. I have updated the BIOS.  I will try a clean install with driver 337.88 and see what happens.  It just seems strange that it works fine until left idle.  I am contemplating a new PSU even though it seems to be supplying a constant voltage.  PSU has 2 x +12v rails supplying 18A on each rail.  GT730 requires 20A, does this sound correct?
I tried emailing support and was told to return card to retailer, but that does not really solve the problem.

    Thanks
    Mac

Any chance you can test with a different PSU? And what is the rest of your system, by the way?

Shut downs can be caused by a faulty PSU, a faulty Mobo, or the CPU getting too hot.
