I purchased a GTX 660 from a buddy of mine earlier this year. Lately I have been having alot of game crashes, driver crashes, artifacts, and freeze ups, when I switch to my other card everything is fine. Looking deeper into the depths of the internet I found out that most EVGA warrentys dont transfer from owner to owner, but a "Guest" may have up to 1000 days after the card ships from EVGA. This lead me to , I just wanted to check if the card was still under warranty, but am unable to find the serial number sticker, help? I see 3 other stickers but non of them say serial number just a bunch of bar codes?

I dont :( I bought it off a friend for $50 bucks in january while i was saving up for gtx980 I only used it for 2 months until i got my gtx 980. My friend isnt a box saver like me :(

it wont say serial number, it will be on a sticker under a bar code and will start with " S / N " also, Is there a backplate on the card, added after he bought it? Could be under it if so??

Thats a B1 card, 1 year warranty ( could be Best Buy ) 02G-P4-3069-B1 <- part number non transferable also

I said , could be. But more than likely, you could check with the previous owner, he may have purchased an extended warranty? yeah, it's a bummer, but those cards are usually cheaper than others.

Did you do a clean install of the drivers when you swapped the cards out? The problem could be there or elsewhere, I wouldn't give up on it! These cards can fail, but rarely, I would keep on it  you may even want to try flashing the bios, he may have altered that, there are 2 here you can try, you can check the bios with GPU-Z to see if it matches the one on the card, and use it to back it up before flashing, but if you have not done this before, I recommend doing some reading on it first http://www.techpowerup.co...Type=&memSize=2048

No, he used the card stock he said. Didnt alter it or anything. Ya, have tried updating drivers any everything. Removed 980 drivers. Installed 660 drivers. Removed 660/reinstalled drivers again. Nothing. Im running windows 10 now, I was running 8.1 earlier this year. I just ordered a 980ti, it will be here in a few days so its no big worrie. Planned on using this card though for my girlfriends rig.
