Unreal +1 but AUSU has almost no support.

I honestly dislike both for the simple fact that when/if you ever have to call support, I get those people who have annoying accents that sound like they barely speak english. That's so annoying and it's the reason I don't run Gigabyte, ASUS or MSI. However, a bigger knock on MSI is that like one other guy said I always seem to find issues with MSI as I build computers for people.

So with that being said, that Godlike mobo seems wicked, so if I ever have the cash to fork, I would definitely give that a shot with ddr4 memory and the processor I would have to look around for.

Never had problems with MSI except for borking a BIOS flash but it had dual BIOS anyway. I had to RMA the board after I burned out a fan header because I ran my H220 directly to it instead of using the power splitter that came with it. RMA was quick and painless. I only owned one ASUS motherboard and that was a 750i SLI that's still going strong after years of use. I'd still prefer an MSI motherboard because of the quick turnaround time for RMA.

Agree with some of above posts  - neither have good support from what I've experienced , yet both seem to run on a pretty good level of initial quality .
So I'd recommend just going with whichever board seems to have the features & looks that you like.

I hear a lot of complaints about ASUS support dragging their feet when approving an RMA. MSI gives me approval within minutes of submitting a ticket at their support site. Yay, MSI!

As a owner of a Asus Rampage V Extreme I can offer these observations.  Asus is very good at updating their BIOS.  It seems like every month or two a new and better revision is coming out.

My other thought is that although I have heard negative things about Asus direct support,( never had to use it myself)  the forums have several dedicated people who will help you troubleshoot and offer their help if you have any issues.  There are also several guides to help you get the most out of your board.

Thanks for all the feedback! I am going with Asus Rampage V Extreme.
Mostly wanted to know of build quaility + if Godlike was much superior to the Rampage V.

Because of design and I somhow prefer Asus Bios and style. MSI to me looks like plastic kid toys production, not that it is.. But it looks like it.
Probably the very bright orange/red, if we are talking eyecandy.

I like to have motherboard with matching GPU's/Same brand too, and MSI 980 ti isn't doing it for me at all. Going with
Asus Strix 980 ti and Rampage V. I think that will fit and forfill my taste and needs the best :)
