I am sure I am way too late but I see this stuff about step up programs...  As you see I bought the 780 Classy and it loooks like right afterwards there was a step up for it?  I got the 3GB.  My fault.  How do these programs work? 

Case: Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL Black

CPU:AMD 2700X 4.05 GHZ

Primary Drives: Sabrent M.2 Gen 4 1tb  Samsung M2 950 Pro 512gb, Samsung  850 Pro 512 SSD x 4,  1x 4tb Performance WD HDD 1x 6TB WD HDDBlack

PSU: Thermaltake Tough power Grand 850psu
Cooling: EVGA CLC 280
OS: Win 11 64 Pro

    The step-up page explains everything.  You pay the difference in price between the card you have and the card you want to step-up to.  There is an approved list of cards. I don't know when you bought your 780 but as long as its within 90 days and you registered it you're good to go.  If you didn't register the card you'd need to purchase the extended warranty and still be the 90 days.

    it happens. 780 Classified is still a great card so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just hold out till next year for pascal.
