Hi Abusmuldoon,

It should run. There are drivers for the Titan Z on Windows 10 available at our download center.

Please let us know how it is not functioning correctly so that we can better assist you.

"It doesn't work" will provide you quality responses such as:
Is it plugged in?
Is it turned on?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If you want help, tell us something useful to describe your issue.

We will definitely need more information as to what's going on, if anything; the Titan Z shouldn't have any problems under Windows 10, though you'll need to be running 64 bit for maximum performance due to the memory limitations of 32bit OSes. As a start, try this card in a different PCI-E port, or perhaps try another card in your system. Let us know the results, and we'll see what we can do.

You have provided us almost no information. Tell us more than one sentence. Be descriptive about what you have done and about your observations.

As it is now, based on your extremely poor presentation, good luck! You're on your own.

Perhaps an EVGA employee will tell us whether this person even has a Titan Z card registered on their account. I am thinking that this may be a troll since they are obviously not doing anything to receive proper help.

Have you tried getting assistance on Gigabyte's website? Why do you ask here? A moderator will move this thread to the general harware section since you aren't using an EVGA card.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest compatible driver for your card off of NVIDIA's website?

What driver have you already tried? 353.62 - WHQL should be the correct driver for your box.

Yes , but don't run

You installed the drivers from NVIDIA's website, but they "don't run". What does "don't run" mean? The drivers don't install, or the card still doesn't work properly with the proper drivers?

In the windows device manager, does the card show up with the proper name and no exclaimation mark symbol next to the name? Or does it say something about generic display adapter? Or does it have a yellow exclaimation mark next to it indicating that there is a problem?

Which version of Windows 10 are you using? Official release you own legally? Beta? Pirated? Was this an upgrade install of Windows 10 over the top of an existing older version of Windows, or clean install to a blank hard drive? Is Windows 10 license registered/verfied?

What type of connection do you have going to the monitor? Have you tried another cable?

Re: Gforce gtx titan Z Windows 10 2015/08/06 15:30:09 (permalink)
Hi, maybe I can help fill in the gaps where this guy isn't giving info.

I'm running an EVGA Titan Z. I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 today via Microsoft's official update. When Win10 first booted, my resolution was wrong and only one monitor was recognized (typical "no drivers" behavior) so I went to the nvidia website and installed the 353.62 drivers. However, upon rebooting, the drivers kept crashing and recovering every few seconds. After a minute or two, the whole PC rebooted. This kept happening every time I rebooted. I booted into safe mode, uninstalled EVERYTHING nvidia (this took multiple restarts, multiple uninstalls, had to uninstall a few things from non-safe mode) and tried installing 353.62 with "clean install" checked. At the end of the install (I'm assuming when the drivers kick in?) my computers screen flashed on and off, then the PC rebooted.

The PC continues to be very unstable. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Gforce gtx titan Z Windows 10 2015/08/06 16:28:33 (permalink)
This whole situation is ridiculous. One would think that the TITAN Z would have been a top priority, seriously (Edited out for Foul Language)

I have a $7000 paper weight right now. Thanks Nvidia.

Mine was a fresh install i7 haswell 8-core processor, 64gb of RAM, M.2 harddrive, Windows 10 on a brand new drive, 1200 watt power supply (There is no voltage problem here), 4k monitor 144hz refresh 1ms delay also tried a garbage monitor with the same results although slower to fail.

Of course Windows 10 is great and installs updates for you whether you want them or not.

353.30 drivers seem to work a bit better than 353.62. But you can't keep them for long, thanks Microsoft.

I've tried everything, uninstalling drivers, reinstalling different versions, using DDU which doesn't prevent automatic driver updates for me.

However, my garbage ATI card works great.

I contacted Nvidia support they offered me assistance in installing drivers, which I didn't need and then admitted that there were compatibility issues, even though on the 1st of August they posted the TITAN Z as being compatible with Windows 10.

Please make them fix the drivers, this is killing me. I'm about return it and go back to ATI after 14 years I finally decide to buy a nice video card and go back to Nvidia because of the PhysX and Unity since I'm a Unity developer and I get fisted, hard. With both fists. I appreciate that, dinner would have been nice first though.

I got a kernel memory security fault message one time, if that helps.

Ok so the card is actually really amazing. Once you get it working correctly.

NVIDIA should not have released drivers that broke this card though. That's the problem with all in one driver nonsense.

Make sure the Windows Update service is disabled, use DDU and then install the 350.12. Still angry, but working.
