I finally added another piece to my x58 yesterday as I picked up a Sapphire Tri X 290x New Edition which comes factory clocked at 1020/1350 .. now the reason I wanted to talk about this is to show everyone how powerful socket 1366 still is as my board/ram power supply is 5 and 1/2 years old and I only invested $100 in the cpu and $259 in the video card .

The X58 chipset platform was way ahead of its time and far above anything AMD had to offer.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

That's fantastic I have a 1366 socket on my steam Machine I built this was my first and still best SM. Its the only one I prefer out of all the fancy other {steam machines} I have build. You can see pics of it on my steam profile. Its has been my tester for video card's for year's it has been running at 5Ghz for 3 years so far. I never brag about it cuz people just find reasons to down it.

x58 is and was a great platform. Hey fanboy, you should add that link to your Mods rig profile. That's all your lacking to be eligible for MR drawing. Nice addition, I have used Sapphire before.

I did some digging around and unless real world gaming is different then the Xeon X5660 is still at Intel Haswell e 5820K level as I found this review running the Haswell E 5820K @ 4.4Ghz testing the Sapphire 390 Nitro..

Here is Heaven 4.0 on there review..

Here is my Heaven 4.0 under the same settings .

Also you can see there Fire Strike score for 1080p in that review and mine is in the top post but says Graphics Score 12298
