idk if im in the right thread but i upgraded to win 10. now my gtx 780 sli add vram? i ran dsr mode 2715X1527 my vram ues about 5000mb in bf4. i ran dsr mode with win 8.1 with the same rescolution it cap at 3000mb and it lags.

It's an error in the way Win 10 reports GPU memory usage to third party app like MSI Afterburner. BF4 is not DX 12 so...

It is a memory issue ..i also get it with GTA V and Batman with SLI enabled. Eventually the memory usage will keep rising until you crash. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes for me..sometimes 30 minutes. I just left i off till new drivers fix the issue.

aww you sure it a memory issue. i tought mabey win 10 add vram witch is nice. so our they going to fix that

It's pretty simple, if the game isn't coded to use 'stacked vram' using DX 12 then it isn't using it. Secondarily, as current games in SLI are using AFR, it wouldn't work anyway.

It depends on what games you look at. With Windows 8.1 and The Witcher 3 I get 2GB of VRAM used with SLI 780 Ti's. With Windows 10 I get 2GB used as well. The same happens for a bunch of other less demanding DX11 games.
However, with other games in Windows 10 like GTA V, Watch Dogs, and Dying Light I get well over 3GB reported (some past 5) - they are also DX11 games. Shadow of Mordor can hit 6GB used with settings cranked - it then drops immediately down to about 5.8GB.
So on one hand, VRAM usage is reported correctly for a slew of DX11 games in Windows 10. On the other hand, VRAM memory hogging games are reporting >3GB usage.
Is it a bug? Supposedly it is, but from what I've come across it doesn't look like it is to me - but ultimately time will tell. Regardless, with DX12 games VRAM stacking is a 100% certainty.

Until you see it fully functioning like it is advertised, it. developers properly coding for the VRAM stacking to be used appropriately, you can't say it is 100%.
A reporting issue will do exactly what you say. If it is reporting 5.8-6 and it is just the psd/game reporting it, then gpuz would show the numbers a little clearer I would think. Have you monitored to see what it shows?
