How many bussiness days does it take to respond to an email EVGA?

I have emailed the Marketing Director as it stated to do so in the customer service response if have a complaint.
It has been 5 bussiness days now and still no reply.
So I'm asking how long do I have to wait for a reply?

    Good luck, customer service from too many companies isn't where it should be.

    Have you checked your emails thoroughly? have you checked your junkbox to make sure it didn't trash it?

    Was this an email sent to EU EVGA or the USA office?

    I check my email every day.

    Usually Joe will respond within a week of a customer emailing him. I would send him another email, ask him for a reply back. Don't be surprised if he ask you to give him a call to discuss it over the phone.

    I though EVGA was better than this 5 more business days have past making it now 10 business days.
    What great customer service provided (not) just a simple reply telling that you are going to get back to me would be great.
    Instead you have chossen to ignore me as a customer that has a complaint and are hoping that I will go away.
    In my day to day duties as a IT Asset Manager this would not fly as a entire company relies on me for technology purchases.
    So I guess I will have to contact EVGA directly and now complain about the Marketing Director and his lack of customer support as stated on the bottom of the support email.
    As whole I'm now completely disappointed with EVGA as a company and will no longer purchase products with your branding or recommend them to fellow coworkers or IT professionals.
    You need to fix your process on how you handle customers.

    I would just like to point out that the below post from MSim is simply not true.  EVGA does care, but please understand that if you should email a single person and do not receive a response then there are many factors that can come into play and it is recommended to call us at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, as we do offer 24 hour technical support to assist.

    Joe Darwin is the highest manager the public can contact. If a customs sends not one but two emails over time period of 10 business days and doesn't receive a reply, who wouldn't take that as the company doesn't care. The customer emailed upper management, not just some low level employee. Lets not forget, the customer did what it said to do if they have a complaint (email Jdarwin).
     
    In my opinion, when dealing with a company having the conversation in writing is always best. That way you can make sure they stick to what was discussed. Over the phone you can't do that, they can claim that wasn't what was said etc (not saying evga does that or would do it).

    That's why it's best to have the voice conversations recorded, but a regular customer is not going to do that because they would expect things to be taken care of the first time. Not by getting the run around. I don't blame him at all here. But, The question is did the OP call customer service like he's been asked to, or call customer service when he saw nobody was replying to his email? That would be my first clue, "nobody responding to my email? I better call them." Don't get mad because somebody didn't respond. It's easy to miss emails, trust me. Not to mention, they probably get thousands a day. A general manager can easily get over 100's a day, if not more. (Oh ya, for the big clue here : "We are all human here, so nobody is perfect. Maybe email is down? )
     
    I'm also wondering if this J Darwin did, in fact ,email the OP to call customer service, because, again maybe he really was on a "business trip", and the OP just ignored that email, and was just wanting to complain about another EVGA employee, and was emailing the general manager to get even with that employee (I don't know)... It's easy to play the blame game. A lot of times a disgruntled customer (yes, I said that, but i'm not saying OP is one...just speaking out loud in general) does not get their way the 1st time because it's something they did wrong, then they have to have some kind of personal vendetta, but usually it doesn't work out they way they intended. Take it as you will guys, you can clearly look at this both ways.

    Typically, Joe Darwin is very timely on email. EVGA did have a pretty stringent spam filter last I checked where many times email domains needed to be white-boxed in order to hit an actual in-box. When in doubt, go through the phone system. Joe prefers talking on the phones to emails.
