PSU 1300 G2 shutting down / Fan not working

Hi All,
I have a 1300 G2 PSU that's been working great for the last 3+ months since I bought it. It's running two bitcoin miners pulling a total of 1160W. For the first time, the PSU shut down yesterday. After about an hour, I was able to turn it back on. However, it would shut off again a few hours later. I noticed the fan stopped working as well which I suspected caused the PSU to overheat and shutdown to begin with. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of the fan not working?

    Hey Sahafiec,
    It's solved in that EVGA was kind of enough to send a new one. I never figured out why the fan stopped working in the first place, but I'm, assuming the room and unit may have gotten too hot. While waiting for the new PSU to arrive, I used the fanless PSU to run one miner instead of 2 and it's been working well for the last week. I also tossed in a box fan to keep the temp down. Should have done this to begin with - lesson learned :)

    glad to hear that, you are always backed up well with EVGA power supplies.
    parts fail sometimes with no obvious reason.
