Sorry to ask this noob question. I am kinda new to this computer thing.
I have recently build my own pc for the first time :D.
The gpu that i got is the EVGA gtx 970. I think its a very good gpu.
Now here is my question:
I want to know the temperature of my gpu. So i went looking for a program and found precision x.
Now for what i have seen, this program allows you to display the current heat and fps rate.
But it is also a overclocking program. I am not interested in doing that (yet). So what i am wondering is: are the default settings of the program the same settings it uses without the program. So i won't tell the difference between what i have now and what i have after i installed the program. I know its a little weird question but i just want to know it for sure....
