Update... I am searching for a replacement I/O module to fix this issue, instead of looking for the "special" nVidia Micro-USB port and soldering it in. As a reference for future consumers of the Tegra Note 7, ensure that you orient the charging cord into the port correctly otherwise damage will occur. Ive also noticed alot of people talking about it not charging, this could also be caused by inserting the cord in upside down. The Micro-USB port is square, not champhered so it is easily done if you are not aware. My wife and daughter used this a few times and they were not aware that the port will accept the cord either way which resulted in damage to the port itself (a wire had bent itself back off of the plastic tab in the port). I wish it had been designed to accept the cord one way like a cell phone and what most people are used to.
