After I few minutes of watching this I found myself leaning into the corners and holding my breath ha ha.  Pretty amazing riding from these two.

    yes they are! They show these races on the Velocity channel occasionally (recorded and pre-cut)

    It is the fastest and deadliest race on Earth.  50 deaths since 2010.......246 since 1911.  I think 4 or 5 died this year during the festival on the Snaefell Mountain, but only 1 during official qualifying.
     
    Even Valentino Rossi thinks the race is crazy, the riders are crazy, the race is too dangerous, and that the thought of racing there freaks him out and he will never do it.
     
    Guy Martin crashed at around 170mph and his bike burst into flames.  Martin was thrown a few hundred feet down track.  His first response when emergency crews got to him, "DON'T CUT MY LEATHERS!".
