...I am thinking of just getting the Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ with the backplate. Good idea or should I just be more patient? I'll only order from Amazon BTW.

Depend what you like, Classified have nice PCB and look nicer. I was wrong I thought ASUS Strix is faster but it's not clock is same that mean Classy is better choice. If you decide to wait Classified you will get 100MHz faster card than Superclock version, for more no warranties. Example If I need to decide between TITAN X and TITAN X SC I would wait without thinking. But you need to decide, both are faster than reference 980Ti and both are faster than reference TITAN X. I know that card availability is always limited on the release of new models. But I can not remember it ever being as bad as is it right now. May be due to the KPE release but it's very bad this time around. I have only seen Classy's up twice on Newegg and never on Amazon (only the pre-order before release). Even the EVGA store has only had 3 or 4 980 Ti's up at any one time. Maybe someone from EVGA can chime in here and let us all know whats going on? Hopefully they will get this worked out soon for you.

200 series was MUCH worse,its all Nvidia and shipment allotments to various vendors .EVGA can ask for 10,000 PCB's but it doesnt mean crap if Nvidia decides to ship 100 (example)

yes, I remember that one also.. went from 9600's to 465's instead, gave up on that one  BTW, hope your doing better Bio, and PT is going well!

Thanks,im still no weight bearing till Aug 10,then "maybe" PT starts :/
Personally the wait times and availability of the 200+400 seem to be the worst ive seen,specialty models of course are worse because they "MUST" meet a certain level of performance and not all cards will or even come close enough and still be stable

I have not waited this long for a card to be in stock. It's kinda rediculous but whatever. I can't "really' complain as I've got a classy 980Ti already but I've ran SLI for years and my system is gimped with one card. I returned a pair of Gigabyte 980ti's because their LED features don't keep synched when using two cards. Their "OC Guru" is absolutly horrid and doesnt even work 1/2 the time. I'm very happy with this one classy but really want my second card. My poor "un-hitched" pair of 8-pins are looking pretty desperate in their. C-mon EVGA, lets get-em out.

Don't settle for less!! I feel like this is EVGA's premier card meant to compete with the other customs, I bought the SC+ and you could tell from the packaging they saved the real love for the Classifieds/Kingpins. Edit: WHOO HOO! I managed to snag one off Amazon, now only 7 left.

TBH I cancelled my amazon order once newegg had stock later in the day ( around 4:30 pm CST )
Saved me a bunch on tax and they shipped the same day, whereas amazon was still processing and " expected " delivery for friday.
is amazon usually like that?
