Same with some programs.

I've noticed my Logitech Mouse/Keyboard program often crashes with Precision running.

Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone I have been noticing problems with as well. The mouse pointer in HotS bugs out so you can't see it. I've seen others with the same problem in HotS. Hearthstone just keeps shutting down on its own for a while, if I keep clicking on the screen or interacting with the board the problem goes away and runs fine after that.

Any idea how to fix this, other than simply shutting down Precision?

Hi, this began happening to me after trying to use the OSD. I solved my issues by doing the following:
    1. Enabling OSD
    2. Clicking on the separate Precicison X taskbar icon which appears when OSD is enabled
    3. Adding all programs I am having problems with to the exceptions list
    4. Disabling OSD

    That should work.

It's been a known bug with Precision X for months now and no fix or even an acknowledgement from EVGA, so don't ever expect one as they really don't care anymore.

Looks like the latest patch still didn't fix this. Pathetic.

It seems to be specific to Blizzard games. My Hearthstone works ok after adding it to the OSD Server, or whatever. But Heroes of the Storm and Diablo both screw up if Precision is running.

I lose my mouse cursor in HotS unless I close precision down every time before I play.

    Yes. It's unfortunate, for sure.

The best workaround used to be to make sure that no Monitoring options have the OSD checkmark checked. That way, the "OSD server" executables don't even load (and you can confirm using Task Manager or Process Explorer).

But even that doesn't work anymore, I think.

So, now the workaround remains: Temporarily turn on OSD, use the Server system tray icon to add your games/apps to the exclusion list, and then optionally disable OSD if you don't want to use it at all. Rinse, repeat, for every game you have a problem with.

... or go with the ultimate workaround (which I have done) -- use MSI Afterburner until EVGA fixes their problems.

I'm having the same issue with Heroes of the Storm. With 5.3.6 my mouse cursor either completely bug out or the game crash. I've disabled the OSD and everything else, I just use this apps for the Fan control but still make my heroes of the storm crash. i've been using this fo years, never had any issue but this version seems to be a little bit broken. im using a titan x.

I just upgraded Precision X from 5.3.5 to 5.3.6 and World of Tanks froze as soon as the enemy showed up, even after restarting the computer.  I had to use Task Manager to close the program.  I rolled back to 5.3.5 and all is working normally again.

If you go to the webpage that hosts the official downloads for precision scroll to the bottom of the page, and you can download all previous versions.

Edit: I was wrong about this, it just lists version history not mirrors for old versions.

    To get older versions:

On the EVGA Precision X page, underneath Download Links, if you right-click the "Mirror 1" image, and copy the link location, and paste in your browser's address bar, and change the 5.3.6 value to 5.3.5, you'll get 5.3.5. You can do that to get any of the recent versions, I think, though sometimes you'll have to append a ".0" to the value (ie: 5.2.2.0, not 5.2.2).

If that doesn't work, or ever stops working, you may contact me and I'll provide any version, including 4.2.1.

Updated to Precision X 5.3.6 and have had nothing but issues. Every game crashed once opened. Was playing fine on 5.3.5 earlier today so I rolled back to 5.3.5 no issues anymore. Really need to test there updates before they roll them out.....

Same here, Heroes of the Storm, mouse cursor stops moving, but you can still click around, just dont know where youre clicking, and in Hearthstone it crashes at the 1st moments of begining a match. I just uninstalled Precision X and everything is back to normal.

    I can live without it.

Me too, causes bugs with most games, might just use afterburner as its interface is easy to use, precision is just big clunky and ugly.
