What cable to get 2560x1600 resolution support from 8400GS?

The specifications for the 8400GS note that it supports 2560x1600. I bought the card because I saw that and need that. I'm trying an HDMI cable. I'm only getting 1920x1200. I have a DVI Dual Link cable. It isn't the type DVI found on the 8400GS, but is the type my monitor has.
 
Is there some DVI cable that will get me 2560x1600?

    DVI-I dual link
     

     I believe a dvi-i to vga adapter would work also, if needed to connect to your display

    I see what happened. I wrote that I have a DVI-I cable, but I looked at the end and it didn't look like it went into the 8400GS. But it does. And it works. Thanks.
