For USB 3 your solution will get USB 3 but probably not the absolute full speed one would see from an onboard solution Personally if I were you it would be better to run two SSDs in raid for better speed using the SATA 2 ports and then use the marvell ports (or reminaing ports) for mechanical or SSD storage

XFXXFX Your SSD (Intel 510?) isn't capable of reaching those speeds. Hence you don't get 500 MB/s. It performs around 300mb/s so you are fine.
Updated my sig!

The problem with that card is that it's only PCIE 1x so it only has 500MB/s of bandwidth, add on the overhead and the fact that it has a Marvell controller and 300MB/s seems about right. Say if you had an LSI raid card with PCIE 4x (2GB/s) then 500MB/s seq. reads/writes would be easily obtainable. But of course one of those cards costs more than the ssd...
OK, so, more reasons to upgrade to new CPU/MOBO/RAM. I think it is time after 6+ good years :) What is the latest consumer intel i7? Should I Buy now or is something new coming right around the corner? would it be LGA 2011-v3?

Skylake is going to be released next month it seems so it may be worth it to wait a little bit. What do you primarily use your system for? If it's just for gaming then I'd grab the i7 6700k or i5 6600k when they are released. If you use it for rendering, CAD, ect. then you'll greatly benifit from a i7 5820k.
The Banshee: Ryzen 5 5600 @ 4.65GHz 1.25V, CPU + 2X GPU Custom loop w/ 360mm & 240mm rads, Asrock X370 Taichi, 2X GTX 780 Ti SLI, EVGA 1300 G2, WD Blue 1TB (main storage), Corsair Force LS 120GB (OS Drive), Fractal Design Arc XL, 2X8GB G.skill Trident Z @ 3200 C14

I see your signature, I was thinking about getting a xeon just like yours & upgrade my ram. But, upgrading to a new mobo/cpu would be nice for the usb 3.0 and sata III & faster memory.

That sounds like a logical course of action.
