Hello,

I know its a stretch, but could the Hadron Air case PSU support a non-overclocked reference 690 on a Z87 Stinger?

The recommended PSU size is 650w but the rail only needs 38A as opposed to the 42A most cards use (I know the Titan is compatible for example).

Regards,

Luke

Unfortunately the GTX690 card is too long to fit into the Hadron Air chassis.

GTXTitan, GTX780Ti, GTX780, GTX770, GTX760 and below will fit without issue.

    Thanks
    Wade

Can you speak to the power supply's capability specifically? I am very interested in whether the 790 will be a viable option for this case, even if minor modding is necessary to get it to fit. Thanks!

Since the 790 isnt out yet, we really cannot answer your question if the 790 can accept a 500W power supply.

Hence why I didn't ask about it.

Actually, the information given about a GTX690 not physically fitting inside the Hadron Air is false. I have successfully installed an EVGA GTX690 in this case and it is running fine.

I installed a reference gtx 690 in the hadron air that I just sold last month. It had less than an inch of clearance from the front of the case so upping the fan profile was a must to cope with the temps. I did modify the case prior to install a gtx 780 Classified.
