complete reconstruction of my left ankle with a few other procedures (5 in total ).....  6 hours surgery with two surgeons
16+ weeks  min recovery time w/PT 18-20 normal

    genetics basically,been trying everything i can for 10 years now to avoid it but as of late i cant be on my feet more then 3 hours w/e massive pain and nerve issues ....was time to just bite the bullet and do it  then pics are from my 1 week post surgery check
     
    the nerve blocks wore off 12 hours early then they should have and the morphine and oxy dont touch it much just dull it

    That looks completely and utterly painful. I hope once you are fully recovered you'll be able to stand without pain.

    I hope you feel much better soon. I dislike surgeries and (so far) have managed to keep from having any.

    I've heard those type of surgeries and injuries never really heal, As there's always weight on that part of the body... That sucks.
     
    I almost tore a ligament a couple years back on my right foot (Had to wear a cast, I was so lucky that I didn't tear it) and to this day I still walk with a slanted foot, Luckily no pain.

    one of the things they did do was a tibial tendon transfer :/
