Hi Guys,

I recently sold my Titan and am now in the process of buying a Titan X or 980Ti...Ive been using the last edition of Rivatuner Precision from Evga for the last two years as its been rock solid and no problems with it whatsoever...Ive tried the Precision X 16 and personally I didnt like it.

My question is: Can I still use 4.2.1 with the Titan x or 980ti?  Will I not get the same performance from the older version if I overclock/overvolt my card?  Should I update to the new precision so its more compatible with the newer Maxwell Cards?

If anyone with a 980 or Titan X is still using 4.2.1 please let me know as I would like to know if your experiencing any performance issues.

Thanks!

It works fine with my 980's, but I can't personally attest to the 980ti or Titan X.

Do you think I would be able to Overclock either of the cards more with the latest Precision x 16 or Afterburner?

    Thanks

Since it was specifically built with those cards in mind, it may very well overclock further with them. The only way to know is to test it. Every person gets a different reaction out of that program.

I will never move beyond 4.2.1 unless the xMicro skin or similar is designed for the current release. I'm using a 980Ti, but I have been getting display driver crashes recently. Unsure if related to Precision X or most recent GeForce driver.
